TS-1 is a Pentasil type titanium silicalite heteroatom zeolite with a three-dimensional Z shaped three-dimensional channel pore structure and oval shaped intersections.
Applications
The titanosilicalite TS-1 skeleton’s coordinated Ti tetrahedral structure acts as a selective oxidation center. In addition to maintaining the MFI zeolite’s original to gy, TS-1 uniformly distributes Ti atoms within the skeleton’s special Si-O-Ti bond. The uniform distribution facilitates
simultaneous catalytic oxidation activity and shape-selective catalysis. Since the A13 skeletal structure does not contain a strong acid ion, TS-1 gas has a strong hydrophobic nature. This attribute allows H202 to participate in a variety of unique shape-selective organic compound oxidation processes. The new catalytic materials’ shape-selective oxidation generation has arrived in green chemistry technology. TS-1 zeolite’s have been used in olefin epoxidation, cyclohexanone oxidation, ammonia oxidation, alcohol oxidation, as well as saturated hydrocarbon and aromatics (phenol and benzene) oxidation in fields such as hydroxylation.
